This is the last of two paintings of this fabulous Blue Roan. The young hand, Chance, was as excited to work off him as I am to paint him. For a young hand, it is equivalent to having a Corvette to drive for the weekend …. danger, speed and youth, all coming together to make the perfect storm. It’s no accident that Chance was selected. He is an old soul, who as a kid, has had to grow up fast. Being mature beyond his 16 years has earned him a day’s work on the last blue rocket.
