Shane is a gifted hand with rope and horse. During several trips to Arizona, I had the misfortune of missing Shane by one day. His initial demeanor is respectful, so Shane plays it cool, even reserved, when you first meet him, but once you break the ice, he’s a warm and loyal friend. Levelheaded and calm, Shane is the epitome of a dedicated, hard worker. I get the sense he has great aspirations for his family and future. But it’s when he’s horseback, rope in hand, and posting across the desert floor, that who Shane is, comes into focus.
