The real satisfaction in being an artist is the people I get to meet. Cody LaSeur is a puncher’s puncher. He is flashy in the saddle, but soft-spoken and humble in conversation. This was Cody’s final ride of three at the Arizona Cowpuncher’s Reunion in Williams, AZ. Embroiled in a three-way fight for first place, with the young legend, Miles Dewitt, and a buckaroo kid from Battle Mountain, NV, Cody was doing everything he could to please the judges and the crowd. Showmanship goes a long way at the Reunion, but it wasn’t meant to be. It was a gracious second place for the class act and last ride of LaSeur.
