I consistently find myself trying to reconcile the cowboy life in my own head.  It’s difficult to weigh the upside of freedom to the many downsides --- bad weather, bad horses and short pay. However, free men are contented men.  To watch my friend Jeremy rope, is to see this aptly demonstrated.  Jeremy has style and carries himself with confidence.  I don’t know if his real passion is roping, or horses or if the line is so blurred that one becomes the other.  But now I realize that the true value of freedom is the ability to pursue our passion.
