This is a shot of my good friend Kacy Wachob during a wild ride.  His wife, Lisa, contacted me and said she had a unique and surreal shot of Kacy during a Ranch Rodeo in their home state of Nebraska.  She thought it might make an interesting painting, and when I saw it, it was a natural!  The huge mare was twisted and contorted and Kacy was doing everything he could to stay in the center.  I was taken by the mare’s huge size, as Kacy is taller than me.  It must have felt like he was sitting on top of a Three Story Grey.
